Oops I missed a post lol, but if you still need help, the randomizer has been built in to 8bdm by default, in your offline skirmish settings you can go to the pickup menu to enable the randomized weapons and in the same settings menu has the ukiwep settings menu where you can turn certain things on and off like you could before. Most weapon packs usually use the randomizer with exceptions being lms game modes where the lms rotation stuff kicks in and certain expansions have some stuff set up to allow the weapons to replace certain vanilla ones if they are loaded. I don't think my weps are in any maps like that though so the randomizer it is.
Yaaaaaaaawnn... what time is it... lets see released v1d in August... in 2023?!? Yeeaaaaah I haven't actually updated this in a little while. So lets change that! MACS v1e is now available! While not exactly the most feature filled update, I did try to aim for some of the requests that I have had over the year, like being able to pick your charge shot from all the shot type rather than being locked in, and copy weps now being able to be used with its own blend of balancing fun! For more info on whats changed, the change log up above should be now up to date. Also considering how long its been since I have updated, please be aware that your saved builds will be a bit out of wack, specifically in the sounds department due to me trying to maintain the order of those for a game by game basis, and also the damage values might be a bit up or down depending. So without further ado here is MACS V1e!

If the name isn't obvious it allows for cbm-v9gh and macs to shake hands and play nice with one another. I was told to try and avoid eating Mega for my shenanigans, so Toast is going to head out into combat as a backup. He will basically function as the make a class stand in, which will let it be easier for people to know what stuff is about to go down. Plus he needs to work off a bonus soda or two. So enjoy playing against your favorite classes with your favorite macs builds!
I think I might actually have something for a idea for something so I'll try and whip it up.

Why hello there! Its been quite a while huh, new forums with a fresh new coat of paint, so why not a new Ukiweps getting a fresh coat of paint as well! Featuring a massive spike of 12 new weapons, a couple reworks, and a bunch of minor tweaks, this is the biggest update to Ukiweps I have ever done! Enjoy and have fun with V4A!

Why hello there! Ukiweps is a weapon pack of a variety of weapons and other things I have made since I have been modding MM8BDM. I tended to focus more on the MMX weapon side of things but there is stuff from other series as well like Battle Network and Unreal, and even a bit of custom original stuff too. Enjoy!

Triad Thunder has regained its namesake, now firing unaimable bolts from the back diagionally or backwards depending on formation

Silk Shot Tutorial
Silk Shot is a fairly unique weapon in terms of how it functions in MMX2, with it changing types based on locations that X was in. In 8bdm I have seen a couple ways to go about it, with one method taking EVERY texture and using a checker to acquire the appropriate type, RNG and you just get a random type, or the method I decide to go with here, which is just simply taking the map name and using it as check for the type globally across the map. With the ever growing number of maps, this is basically a impossible task to keep up with, so what I have done is allowed mappers to have control over which shot type is called by having the map replace the script I have in Ukiweps which determines the shot.
What happens when the weapon is in a unsupported map?
When any map thats not in my script is not hit, fear not, you will get the basic scrap shot at the very least.
Wow that is so neat, what do I need to do in order to have my fun map swap types?
In Ukiweps there is a script that triggers on switching to the weapon called "SilkShot_MapCheck". The easiest way to support the idea behind it, is having a script that just simply replaces it in your maps acs file that gives out the appropriate flag to change the type of shot.
Wow that sounds complicated do can you tell me more on how to do this?
I won't tell you, I can show you, with this simple tutorial map from this master crafter of maps (I am a noob lol). The map file contains the acs for the simple swap and a extra way which uses a actor enters sector thing in order to swap types based on sectors your in. For the easiest game play wise though, highly recommend just replacing one script though, keeps it simple.
If you want to run around the map, be sure to load it with Ukiweps, the map does not contain any of the weapon stuff. Download is here!

In my script, I have the main core maps covered and I also went through both jam packs in order to show off the weapon. If other mappers want to support I can try and list these packs here as well.

A default load option is now available to load a base loadout to begin tweaking fresh
Your current loadout will now stay after leaving the game and reopening
Added Wall Jump, Air Jump, Hover, Copy Weapon capability, and Ammo Capacity changing for the mainfire shots and altfire shots
Added Wave as a new projectile movement option
Charge Shot Fire alteration has been reworked to allow any of the shot types as the full charge attack
instead of just the shot type your currently using
Charge Shot's damage in the damage display shows the full charge shot's damage rather than the amount gained from charging
Dash Boost has been reworked to be akin to a dash rather than a constant stream of movement, with almost double the strength of the boost at the cost of a longer cooldown between boosts and a higher ammo cost
Added the ability to swap out your hud gun to 11 other color combinations
Added 5 new projectile skin cosmetics
Added/Updated fire sounds that were added into core
Added Chaos Mode for the truly insane that want the truest of tor.... FUN yes fun
Health, Jump, and Movement Speed have been changed to a additive percentage adjustment on the BASE damage of a shot (Base = 20 damage default) (Every 5% of 20 = 1 damage)
Jump Height has a new low point of 5 (which with the new scaling keeps things even)
Movement Speed loadout code has been revamped slightly, hopefully it will keep things straight this time
Shotgun's angle variance increased from 3 to 6
Explosion damage reduced from -7 to -12
Ice damage type should now have much less hitstun
Ice damage type now only lasts 5 seconds from 10 seconds
Ice and Fizzy now only grant a extra second on reapplying a already affected target rather than half the timer
Slow damage increased from -50% to -25%
Spark damage increased from -75% to -50%
Alt Guided should now base its speed on the altfire and not the mainfire
Boomerang should now have ripper properly applied (probably from the trail/spawn activator recodes)
Charge shot can now charge without firing a shot
Reduced the amount of particles on charging particles, fizzy lift bubbles, and ice slip runner sparkles
Smoothed out the charge shot frames so firing should be more responsive
Spread damage increased from -60% to -50% (120% to 150% total)
Orbital's damage decreased from -50% to -60% (200% to %160 total)
Orbital's ammo cost while orbiting increased in rate from 35 tics down to 17 tics (1 ammo per second to a little
under half a second)
Recoil should now properly jump to Orbitals altfire properly
Sped up Rev Up's fire rate by a couple frames to make sure its half of your base fire rate
Energy Absorber no longer gives ammo regen on itself when struck
Energy Absorber has a slightly longer deactivate when running out of ammo
Energy Absorber now heals for 25% damage dealt instead of 50%
Bouncers should now trigger most stage hazards with the appropriate types (fire pillars are weird)
Added some measures for orbitals desync issue that should allow you to reset if it does desync
Added a damage adjuster option for orbitals in the damage adjustment menu
Changed the rendering style of the extra flames on the fire damage to translucent and added more alpha to them
to help out seeing while being burned numerous times
Couple fixes to hopefully smooth out the generic robot stuff for online coop play
Added a check for possesion pickup with orbitals
Moved the Macs database menu from the main menu into the MACS menu
Reorginized the menu for ease of access to player specific options and the server specific options
and to add some colors to make options pop a bit better
Added the make a class menu into player setup and as a bind for more ways of being able to access in case of other mods removing it
Renamed ACS Files to make some of them a little less generic for compatibility purposes
