EMPX Legacy
An old map set by Jakel, remastered for MM8BDM v6c!

Experience eight old and iconic maps of 2017, now fully compatible with the latest version of Mega Man 8-Bit Deathmatch, and updated with features from the 2026 release! A sendoff to the pack, with a new version coming soon by the official creator!

Changelog
This version comes with a slew of changes that bring the pack to modern core standards, in full compatability with MM8BDM v6c!! Now with the addition of new items and map changes!

Empxlegacy-v1a: One Last Hurrah for the Eons.

In General
- Christened "EMPX Legacy" by Jakel.
- Sprinkled in v6c items and upgrades within the maps.
- Added compass and Domination support to every map!
EON01- REDHOT INFERNO
- Massive aesthetic overhaul.
- Minor layout adjustments.
- Added Power Adaptor, Roll Swing.
- Added Shock Guard, Energy Balancer NEO, Question Block.
- Added a Magma Bazooka.
- West Drill Bomb > Freeze Cracker.
- Beat Strike > Counter Attacker.
EON02- THIS IS A BAD FUTURE
- Aesthetic revamp by Jakel and MegaVile.
- Added cover in the central outdoors.
- Added Rock Kick.
- Added Super Guard, Item Presenter, Capsule Catcher, Auto Recover.
- Added Carry, Balloon.
- Added an Oil Slider outside the central entrance.
- Lightning Bolt > Gravity Hold.
EON03 - MARINE PLAYGROUND
- Altered underwater textures. The lake is clean, guys.
- Added more tigers.
- Added Super Guard, Auto Recover, Spare Body.
- Rush Coil > Carry.
- Proto Buster > Roll Swing.
EON04 - TRIPLE B (BIG BADDIE'S BASE)
- Removed teleporters at Jakel's request.
- Lessened the free space between Oil Canisters and Magnet Missile.
- Added Transceiver, Item Presenter, Beat Strike.
- Added Power Adaptor.
EON05 - MT. SLICER
- Minor layout adjustments.
- Added Energy Balancer NEO, Power Generator, Capsule Catcher.
- Rush Coil > Magnet Beam.
EON06 - CLUB METEO
- Minor layout adjustments.
- Added pavilian by the Magic Card room.
- Added a jump onto the high ground near Magic Card.
- Widened vent a bit.
- Added Enemy Analyzer, Super Arrow, Beat Strike.
EON07 - CHEMICAL WAREHOUSE
- Spruced up aesthetics.
- Minor layout changes, like a gazebo or altered sectors.
- Added Power Generator, Damage Absorber, Power Shield.
- Added Balloon.
- Added Rush Bike.
- Hyper Bomb > Black Hole.
EON08 - TONE TOWN
- Complete aesthetic sweep.
- Revised several areas, and added new ones.
- Brought back the full instrumentation in high quality.
- Added Counter Attacker, Super Recover, Power Generator.
- Added Mega Arm.
- Cleaned up scripts.
- Moved Energy Balancer NEO off of the Grand Drum.
- Moved Gyro Attack, added Jet Adaptor in its place.

EMPX has been updated to MM8BDM version 6c! With map changes and new item additions, alongside Domination support! With Jakel working on his own new pack, he has christened this version "EMPX LEGACY" and no new updates will come to this one. (Besides maybe any necessary bug fixes.)

Important note however, this version will NOT work in MM8BDM v6b and prior! You will have to use an older EMPX file for that!!
